RESEARCH IN OPHTHALMOLOGY

From basic research to patients

PROJECTS

Our work spans many aspects of ophthalmological pathologies. From the surface of the eye to the optic nerve, our projects all aim to benefit patients. The diversity of our profiles allows us to explore original approaches for specific pathologies.

CREW

What would a research laboratory be without a solid team. Get to know our researchers, clinicians, technicians, students, who put their time and passion at the service of the discovery of the pathological mechanisms of the eye, and transfer this knowledge into a care strategy for patients.

PUBLICATIONS

Here you will find some of our research. We will always consider publishing in journals offering free access to our findings. When this is not possible, do not hesitate to ask us our articles, we will send them to you with pleasure

ABOUT US

Our strategy can be summed up in a fairly simple formulation: Alone, we travel fast, together, we travel far.

This is how they approached researchers from the Institut des Neurosciences de Montpellier, and clinicians from the Montpellier University Hospital. By bringing each and every one of their different approaches and skills, we have built a research structure that allows us to go back and forth between patients and research. The diagnosis of a pathology allows the implementation of research protocols leading to a better knowledge of the pathological mechanisms, and thus a better management of patients in the future, and earlier diagnoses. These are essential for care to preserve healthy eyesight.
